A Bit About Thanos Milousis
Dr. Milousis is a Specialized Internist and Exercise Physiologist, with a Honorary Doctorate of the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thrace and a master's degree holder of the Bangor University in the UK, specializing in muscle fatigue.
He worked as the chief field doctor in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games (Ellinikon Olympic Complex) and in the 2008 FIBA Pre-Olympic Tournament (OAKA).
For a period of more than ten years (2004-2014) he was the doctor of the Greek U18 and U16 National Basketball Team with which he won 2 European medals.
For 2 consecutive years (2014-2015) he collaborated with the Euroleague as doctor responsible for the somatometric tests of all its referees.
Since 2012 he is a member of the medical staff of Aris Thessaloniki BC.
