BASIC ELEMENTS OF THE ELITE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The affiliated academies network's talented players development program aims to identify, train and develop talented young athletes in South East Europe. To achieve this, we have designed and organized the development program for talented basketball players.
The players who stand out have the opportunity to enter the Elite Development Program and train annually in two 4-day Elite Camps in Greece under the supervision of experienced and qualified coaches with the Valencia Basket Academy Methodology. Those qualified, will be ready to take the next step and they will participate in a selected Valencia Basket Academy Greece & Cyprus team.
The whole process of talent utilization is done in three stages of training age, which are the Basic stage (age from 10 to 12 years old), stage II (age from 13 to 16 years old) and the Stage III (age 17 to 18 years old).
The Elite Development Program includes 6 specific parts:
• Recruiting program,
• Elite Development Camps,
• Individual training program,
• Valencia Basket Academy Greece & Cyprus team
• Tournaments in Greece and Europe
• Week experience at Valencia Basket Academy (Training Stage)
